Beyond the tools recently launched, AF Fluvial Conseil is above all a profession rooted in connection, analysis and collective construction, in the service of river tourism.
From the very beginning, one conviction has guided each of my assignments:
👉 there is no ready-made solution,
👉 nor any model that can be replicated identically.
Each territory, each stopover site, each visitor site —
and each cruise company as well — has its own constraints, expectations and operational realities.
🧩 Assignments designed on demand
The assignments carried out by AF Fluvial Conseil are fully adapted to the needs expressed.
They may concern:
- territories and local authorities,
- stopover sites, true gateways to destinations,
- visitor and tourist sites that welcome or wish to welcome cruise passengers,
- local stakeholders involved in the shore-side experience,
- cruise companies, within a logic of dialogue and coordination with territories.
There is no fixed catalogue.
Each assignment is designed on a tailor-made basis, depending on:
- the local context,
- the level of project maturity,
- the expectations of cruise companies,
- and the resources that are actually available.
🏛️ Supporting visitor sites in their relationship with cruise companies
F Fluvial Conseil also supports visitor sites — cultural, heritage, natural or leisure-oriented — that wish to better position themselves with river cruise companies.
This support aims to:
- clarify the offer in light of cruise company expectations and operational constraints,
- identify what truly constitutes the site’s added value for a river cruise excursion,
- structure a clear, concrete and operational narrative,
- facilitate communication with cruise companies, using a language understood by all.
The aim is not to transform sites or standardise them, but to:
👉 highlight what already exists,
👉 adjust presentation to the realities of river cruising,
👉 and foster sustainable relationships between visitor sites, territories and cruise companies.
🔗 A linking role between territories and cruise companies

AF Fluvial Conseil also works alongside cruise companies, with a clear objective:
👉 to act as a link between territories and cruise companies,
👉 to facilitate mutual understanding,
👉 to anticipate the needs and constraints of each party.
This work may involve:
- analysing stopover conditions,
- exchanges with local stakeholders,
- aligning shore-side and onboard expectations,
- anticipating medium- and long-term projects.
It is not only about responding to an immediate issue,
but also about imagining what may become possible tomorrow, when conditions are right.
🛠️ Diagnostics, support and training
Among the services offered:
- diagnostics of territories and stopover sites,
- strategic and operational support,
- training and exchange sessions for teams, local partners, territories, visitor sites or cruise companies.

hese interventions are always built with stakeholders,
based on field realities, actual practices and feedback from experience.
🤍 A human, progressive and pressure-free approach

Requesting a meeting – whether as a territory, site or cruise company – involves no commitment.
An initial exchange may simply help to:
- better understand a project,
- identify avenues for reflection,
- or consider a medium- or long-term evolution, without constraints or imposed timelines.
The only expectation is simple:
👉 respect for the time devoted to the exchange,
because, like everyone else, I too have assignments to carry out.
parce que, comme chacun, j’ai moi aussi des missions à mener.
🌱 A clear ambition
🎯 The objective is never to sell at all costs.
It is to move the river cruise sector forward, in a realistic, progressive and coherent way, while respecting everyone’s pace.
👉 Every collaboration begins with a discussion.
👉 Everything else is built together.
