Cruise Lines: AF Fluvial Conseil – Bridging Ships and Destination

I don’t “replace” anyone.
I connect. I translate. I make things flow.

Between cruise lines, ports, and destinations, I build the link that was missing.

🌉 A Natural Evolution

Since the creation of AF Fluvial Conseil, I’ve been supporting destinations through diagnostics, action plans, coordination, and communication.
But as the meetings and fieldwork multiplied, one thing became clear:
for the river sector to move forward, cruise lines and destinations must progress together – at the same pace.

This is the role of confluence I now fully embrace:
connecting the worlds of operations, tourism, and navigation – so that projects can flow more smoothly between them.

⚙️ An Approach Built on Experience and Connection

My approach is based on:

  • nearly 20 years of experience in the river sector — both on board and on shore,
  • a deep understanding of French river ports and stopovers, and their specific contexts,
  • a strong command of institutional and tourism relations, to bridge strategy and on-the-ground realities.

📍 In Practice, I Work To:

  • support cruise lines in their relationships with French destinations (stakeholders, local dynamics, administrative and tourism frameworks);
  • assist in the adjustment or optimisation of stopover and excursion programmes, in close collaboration with local partners;
  • facilitate coordination between cruise lines, ports, and local authorities;
  • anticipate operational needs and ease passenger flow planning;
  • enhance the onshore experience, from disembarkation to return on board;
  • and strengthen local impact and brand perception for cruise lines within destinations.

🧭 A Clear Guiding Line

A tailor-made expertise, anchored in the field, supported by a clear and operational framework.
The goal: to help the river sector move forward — through connection, coherence, and trust.

Because between ships and destinations, it’s all about coordination.
